For the second year, Burntwood School are hosting a Careers Fair for year 10, 11 and 6th form students on 31st January and we are looking for local businesses to attend and inform our students about their jobs.
In common with other Wandsworth secondary schools the Governing Body of Burntwood School is seeking to amend its admissions oversubscription criteria.

Year 12 students Jess Gell and James Coppin have entered a film in the competition 'Film Nation Shorts'.
It is with pleasure I write to you as this term draws to a close. Since April we have seen major progress on the three buildings that form phase 1 of our project, and we are already planning the opening of the Sports Hall at the end of February. The new entrance building and the maths and science block will be ready for occupation in the summer of 2012.
Burntwood’s Christmas Concert was a triumph with a spectacular mix of seasonal music and readings. The concert featured a variety of beautifully performed solo and ensemble pieces, with readings that celebrated the 400th anniversary of the King James Bible with verses read in Latin and Ancient Greek to complement the English version.
Burntwood is delighted to announce that it has been successful in its application to provide a team of seven students to be ball girls at the 2012 Olympic tennis events at Wimbledon.
