Years 10 and 11 Curriculum Guide

This booklet contains details of all the courses on offer at Key Stage 4 - Years 10 and 11 of Secondary Education. Subject staff and tutors will be advising your daughter on the appropriate courses she should be studying. It is essential that you discuss this booklet with your daughter.

All students study English Language, English Literature, Mathematics and Science to GCSE level. In addition to examination subjects, all students have classes in PHSCE, core PE, core ICT, and core RE. We recommend students follow a balanced curriculum until age 16.

Students are advised to take a subject from each of the following curriculum areas; Humanities, Design & Technology, Languages and Physical & Arts Education. This will ensure that no possible career paths are closed off, and that every student has the opportunity to gain the best possible examination results.
