The buildings, dating from 1958, are an award winning design by London County Council architects. A landscaped site of 13 acres provides a campus style design together with an adjoining sports field.
Teaching is centred in two main blocks containing specialist areas for Science laboratories, Computer networks, Design & Technology workshops, Mathematics rooms, the Library, English and Media Studies facilities, Art rooms, Dance, Drama and Music areas, Language laboratories and classrooms.
Separate buildings include a large hall (which seats the whole school for Assembly) and a drama hall, a staff room, a student refectory and a Physical Education building which includes three large gymnasia and a swimming pool. The Sixth Form have their own block.
