“If You Ask Me…” Exhibition at the Battersea Arts Centre
I would like to invite you to a very exciting exhibition at Battersea Arts Centre to which thirteen Year 9 Burntwood students have contributed some fabulous work. The exhibition is called “If You Ask Me…”, and comprises a series of installations from both our students and those from three Wandsworth primary schools.
ParentPay and Cashless Catering System - 28th April 2013
We are pleased to advise families that the automatic link between the 'Parentpay' and cashless catering systems has been reinstated. Whilst this was outside of our control we must apologise for the inconvenience this caused last week.
Spring Celebration - 30th March 2013
Burntwood’s annual Spring Concert took place on Tuesday 26th March. It took the theme of ‘Friendship Across the World’ and featured a variety of music with an international flavour.
National Science and Engineering Week – 18th March 2013
National Science and Engineering Week was celebrated at Burntwood with a host of events and activities. Year 7 and 6th Form students were excited to meet farm birds and animals from the ‘Kidsrome’ mobile farm

The achievements of 137 students from years 7 to 13 were recognised at Burntwood’s annual Awards Evening.
Student Council Meets With Local Magistrate - 25th February 2013
Burntwood's student council was delighted that magistrate, Mary Methuen, was able to attend a Student Council meeting this month.
Court Visit for Year 9 - 7th February 2013
In preparation for their participation in this year’s Magistrates’ Court Mock Trial Competition, Year 9 students visited Wimbledon Magistrates’ Court.
Refreshing Ideas for The Burntwood Logo - 25th January 2013
As part of Burntwood’s Building Programme and the introduction of a new school uniform, students from Years 7 to 13 have been working with award-winning graphic designer, Morag Myerscough, on ideas to refresh the Burntwood logo.
Burntwood Students Selected for Wimbledon Training - 18th January 2013
For the first year ever, Burntwood has been accepted as one of the feeder schools able to provide ball girls for the Wimbledon Tennis Championships.
