Fourth Artsmark Gold for Burntwood School - 27th June 2012
Burntwood School is delighted to announce that it has been awarded Artsmark Gold for the fourth time in recognition of its commitment to, and excellence in, Arts education.
By gaining Artsmark Gold, Burntwood is demonstrating its dedication to the wider development of young people and staff and to raising the profile of the Arts in the school and local community. Artsmark Gold is the highest level of achievement a school can attain.
Helen Dorfman, Burntwood Principal said ‘I am extremely pleased that once again the Arts Council has recognised Burntwood’s dynamic arts education programme. Each year, the standards required to reach this level have become more rigorous and now fewer than ten percent of schools achieve Artsmark Gold, confirming that Burntwood’s Arts provision is of the very highest quality.’
