Staff Tour the Building Site - 8th November 2011

Last week 70 members of staff donned hard hats, high visibility vests and steel toe capped boots for a grand tour of the new buildings programme.

They visited the new Sports hall, which already has its walls and most of the roof complete, the Maths and Science building where the most bold climbed up the scaffolding ladders and onto the roof and the new Entrance building, which includes the Sixth Form Centre and Business and ICT suites and which overlooks Burntwood Lane.

Staff were extremely impressed with the work and progress to date and can't wait to get into the new accommodation next year. All three buildings will be in use before the end of the academic year.
