Advanced Level Studies

A wide range of AS and A2 level subjects are offered, including:

Applied Business, Art, Biology, Business Studies, Chemistry, Dance, Drama, English, French, Geography, Graphics, History, Human Biology, ICT, Latin, Mathematics (including Mechanics), Media Studies, Music, Photography, Physics, Product Design 3D and Textiles & Fashion, Physical Education, Philosophy and Ethics of Science, Psychology, Religious Studies, Sociology, Spanish and Urdu.

We also offer the Community Sports Leadership Award and a vocational GCSE course in Underwater Media which incorporates both the closed and open water Diving qualification. The Sixth Form timetable is constructed around the students' choices and so is flexible enough to accommodate student preferences.

Vocational Subjects

The vocational subjects offered at Burntwood school are Applied Business and BTEC. Further information can be found in the Sixth Form prospectus.
