Three Levels of progress in English and Mathematics
The percentage of pupils making 3 levels of progress in English and Mathematics is strong at 79.8% and 78.9% respectively. Both figures are well above national averages and are a very good indicator of the excellent progress made by Burntwood students between year 6 and 11.
EBacc – English Baccalaureate
This is a new qualification that students are awarded if they achieve at least a grade C in the following subjects:

If a school has a high percentage of students achieving this qualification, it is a strong indicator that the school is preparing its students well so that they are more likely to be able to access prestigious academic courses in the future.
