TIMES & DATES Timetable The school day for Years 7 - 9 starts at 8.35 am and ends at 3.10 pm on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. On Wednesday lessons end at 2.40 pm. Twenty-nine 50 minute periods. The school day for Years 10 - 11 starts at 8.35 am and ends at 3.10 pm on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. On Wednesday lessons end at 3.30 pm. Thirty 50 minute periods. The school day for the Sixth Form starts at 8.35 am and ends according to each student's individual timetable. There is a voluntary programme of extra curricular activities available to everyone on all days except Monday. Students receive information about these activities from YCCs and Heads of Departments.

Lunchtime

All students remain on site during the lunch period, when they have the opportunity to purchase meals from the cafeterias or bring a packed lunch from home.
Many extra curricular activities take place at this time. Before school and at mid-morning break a service of light refreshments is available.
