A Level Results 2025

Congratulations to Year 13 students at Burntwood School who are celebrating a brilliant set of A Level results, and places at top universities, degree apprenticeships and specialist colleges.

Across over 30 A Level, T Level and BTEC subjects, Burntwood students have achieved excellent results, with improved outcomes compared to 2024 and significant value added across many subjects. Results in A Level Spanish, Religious Studies and Computer Science are particularly impressive and students are looking forward to studying a wide variety of subjects, ranging from Medicine and Neuroscience with AI, to Architecture, PPE and Psychology.

With a clean sweep of A*s in Computer Science, Maths and Further maths, Mah heads to King’s College London to study Computer Science. She is joined by several peers venturing into the world of Computer Science, as Kornelia heads to Royal Holloway and Asmaa, Bonnita and Urooj look to more specific courses with a particular focus on AI, Cybersecurity and Software Development.

Nicole and Neeja earned themselves places to study Medicine at Brighton & Sussex Medical School and the University of Leicester, both with straight A/A* grades. Our scientists have excelled this year, with Chiara bound for Warwick to study Chemistry, Karis to Liverpool for Aerospace Engineering and Pilot Studies and Hannah who will study Nutrition and Medical Sciences at UCL.

Rahma was joined by her family to receive the incredible news that she successfully gained her place at the University of Oxford to study French & Arabic with A*A*AB grades! In a similarly competitive field, Maira embarks on her Degree Apprenticeship with Amazon in Project Management after a gruelling 5 month interview process and securing her A*AB grades today.

We are proud that our students are leaving us, having had the opportunity to explore such a broad curriculum, to enjoy a huge variety of courses, experimenting with traditional, practical and industry-led options. We know Eddie will thrive in their Musical Theatre course at LMA; Head Girl, Rebecca, will take the world by storm studying International Development at Sussex; and Leah and Hannah will be a trusted addition to some of our most important services, the London Ambulance and the British Army.

Bruce Gerry, Head of Sixth Form, said: “I am so proud of all our students have achieved, and their hard work, dedication and resilience throughout this year is evidenced by their A Level results today. It is fantastic to seem them head off to follow their passions in such a wide range of areas, and to look beyond the traditional subjects and university routes to explore the wealth of opportunities available to then. A huge congratulations to you all, and we wish you the very best of luck as you leave us to become the women and men of tomorrow!”
