Examination Results 2023

Record Breaking GCSE Results

Congratulations to all our Year 11s who collected their much-anticipated GCSE results in August 2023. Their hard work, determination and commitment has led to some fabulous results; a third of all our students’ results were grade 7 and above. They have achieved the best ever results for Burntwood School; we are incredibly proud of all their fantastic achievements. This is despite the setbacks they had over the past few years – what an incredible achievement. We welcome back all our students returning to our Sixth form, it is lovely to see so many of you back at Burntwood this term along with students who have chosen to join us from other schools.

Celebrating Fantastic Results and Destinations for KS5 Students

A huge congratulations to our Sixth Form students for achieving some truly impressive results. Despite the considerable disruption to their education caused by the pandemic, Year 13 students have demonstrated resilience, determination and ambition with many students securing top grades.

We are particularly proud of our students for gaining entry to some excellent universities to study highly competitive courses; this year, 75% of applicants secured their first choice at university and two of our students secured highly competitive apprenticeships at KPMG and Amazon. We are so proud of all of their achievements and wish them all of the best on their future endeavours.
