Languages
Welcome to the Languages Cluster. Our programmes are designed to foster curiosity, cultural awareness, and confident communication in a range of languages. Whether you're interested in modern languages, ancient languages, or classical civilisation, our curriculum offers something for everyone.
The Languages Cluster provides a curriculum which enables students to become confident, curious, and articulate communicators in another language. Through the study of Modern Languages (French, Spanish, and Urdu), Ancient Languages (Latin and Ancient Greek), and Classical Civilisation, students have the opportunity to explore global cultures, histories, and linguistic traditions.
The Languages curriculum ensures that all students are supported, challenged, and celebrated in their learning journey. It fosters a love of languages and an appreciation of the rich cultural diversity within our school and beyond.
Whether students study one language or several, the curriculum helps them build strong foundations in literacy and oracy, empowering them to express themselves clearly, respectfully, and thoughtfully. It prepares students to engage with the world around them—locally, nationally, and internationally—with empathy, confidence, and curiosity.
