The Burntwood School Resource Base is a provision for girls between the ages of 11-18. 

Opened in Sept 2022, The Burntwood Base is a specialist resource base provision for young people who have an Education Health and Care Plan - EHCP specifying Social & Emotional Mental Health needs as a prime need. Young people will also have complex mental health needs including high levels of anxiety, eating disorders, phobias or self-harming behaviours.

The Burntwood Base allows for a completely tailored learning environment, either 1 to 1 in the Base itself, in small groups or in timetabled lessons, allowing the Base to change and adapt each student’s provision as their needs evolve. The Base also has access to the very best pastoral and therapeutic interventions, as well as Burntwood’s excellent teaching and best in class facilities.
